Cameroon Visa Requirements

  • Original signed passport valid for 6 months.
  • One (1) passport size photo. (Photo facility is available on-site - TORONTO, OTTAWA, MARKHAM & VANCOUVER). Please note that photos from photo booth or home-shot photos are not acceptable.
  • Proof of status. Copy of Permanent Resident Card or other proof of legal status in Canada (such as study permit, work permit, refugee/protected person status document)
  • Filled out on computer and signed Cameroon visa application form.
  • Vaccination. Copy of International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever and Polio vaccination certificate.
    Result of a negative COVID-19 test no more than three days old.
  • Bank Statement. Recent bank statement certified by the bank stamp and showing proof of not less than CAD3000 available on the account.
  • Copy of round-trip tickets and itinerary.

  • Personal Letter. A personal letter from the applicant addressed to the Embassy of Cameroon, explaining the purpose of the trip, dates of travel, and cities to be visited.
  • Visas are valid for up to 3 months
  • Persons WITH DUAL citizenship, ONE of which IS Canadian, must apply WITH their Canadian passports only. Applicants WITH other THAN Canadian passports must provide the copy of the document confirming their current resident STATUS IN Canada (Valid PR Card, STUDY or WORK Permit)

Cameroon Business Visa Requirements (additionally to the requirements above)

  • Business Letter. A business letter from the sending company in Canada and sponsoring company in Cameroon, on their letterhead stationary, addressed to The Embassy of Cameroon, and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above), briefly introducing the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant) and clearly stating the precise nature of the business to be conducted by applicant. If requesting a multiple entry visa, the letter should specifically request the multiple entry visa and explain why the applicant will be traveling to Cameroon so often.
